MArio Carpino - Arena Manager
Mario Carpino grew up on Dupont Street just west of Bathurst. He began working at Bill Bolton Arena in 1985 and has also worked at North Toronto Arena. He attended Central Tech High School and graduated from the Arena Management program at Humber College.
Mario has been a fixture of the arena for over 30 years and nobody knows the rink better. Serving as the Facility Foreman under manager Jim Oreto, he has seen the building and the neighbourhood change over the last four decades. He took over as manager in 2014 and has guided the expansion of several leagues, introduced new programs and is currently overseeing the biggest capital project in the arena's history.
Gianluca - Facility Operator
Gianluca stared working at Bill Bolton in October of 2012.
The best part about working at Bill Bolton arena are that we know we are able to give the local community a place to come together, where they can feel safe and have a great time weather they're skating or playing hockey. My personal favourite part when working at the rink is to be involved with the kids hockey camps. Just seeing them have so much fun, and showing up every morning with a smile on their face is all that I need to know that we're doing a great job here at Bill Bolton arena.
Daniel - Facility Operator
Daniel began working at Bill Bolton in September 2014
My favourite part about working at the Arena is the BBA community. We are so lucky to have community members who care about the work we do and appreciate the programs we offer. Everyday is different, and throughout my time at BBA, I have been able to build positive relationships that make going into work very rewarding. Also, I work with a great staff. We all share the same vision and dedication to this facility. This truly creates a family environment where everybody is there for each other. This job isn't just limited to facility operations. We interact, build, create and learn new things everyday. Simply put, Bill Bolton is a special place, and I'm happy to be a part of it.
